Today's shot comes from inside the Couvercle Hut that sits between the Glacier de Leschaux and the Glacier de Talefre in the French Alps.
It's already been over 5 years since this photograph was taken. On Feb. 19, 2008 I had done one of my most rewarding climbs to date. The Lagarde Direct on the North East face of Les Droites in the Mount Blanc Massif. I took the photo the morning after in the Couvercle hut as my climbing partner Unai and I were getting ready to leave and walk back down to Chamonix. The window of the hut perfectly framed the Grandes Jorasses.
