Photo of the day - Paris to Ancaster 2013

On Sunday I had a chance to go and check out the Paris to Ancaster bike race. This year was the 20th anniversary of the race and it has become one of the biggest bike races in Canada. There were over 1300 participants taking part this year.

The race itself was 62km this year. Originally inspired by the European classic Paris to Roubaix, it goes through fields, farm roads, trails and gravel roads. With constant rain for a few days prior to the race it was an especially muddy affair this year. Here is the photo of the day.
